with the pleasure.

back at the spark.

Feels nice.
Feels over.
Over is okay.

Waiting 
in the desert.
Waiting
for the girl.
Waiting.

Chains 
on her wrist.

Men speak,
not in her language,
but she understands.
Shadows cast,
they offer power.
Try to force it upon her.

But she wields
her own power.
Humanity is what 
makes her strong.

souled now,
more human 
than in a century.
The kill doesn’t thrill
like it used to.

What’s a vampire to do?

Back to basics.
Strength and attitude.
Black leather coat
billowing behind.
Its original owner
just a girl.
Waiting 
for a vampire.
Chosen
to die at his hand.

He’s not sorry
for her death.

Their strengths 
were equal.
Their fight, destiny.

But he does feel sorrow
for other things.
Many other things.

Episode 136 – First Date

He’s still a torn man.
Not between good and evil,
but between love
and getting over her
when she’s right there
in front of him
in lace and bare skin
and asking him to stay.

He sits with her on the couch,
with the scar on his brow.
